Lipstick Trends - Deep Plums and Mulberry

We've seen an onslaught of deep lips on red carpets and runways in recent times. From mulberry to deep plum to borderline browns.What we love about this new deep trend is that it can be worn by any skin tone.

For fair skin the deepest colors are obviously best worn at night. Those with deeper skin tones can easily wear these colors during the day.

These shades are bold statement lips so stick to the rules of keeping the rest of your make up neutral and soft so your lips can do the talking.

If you're a bit nervous about choosing such bold shades try the following:

Fair skin - opt for deep berry colors
Medium skin - burgundy and maroons are your friends
Dark skin - deep wines and browns will flatter
